Need help...

Hi all members, sorry I'm new person, I found this forum from the internet when I was trying MyPhoneExplorer program.

I have mobile multimedia phone with chipset MTK6227 processor and the processor has released by MediaTek company, and I've got the USB to serial COM port driver also.
I tried to test this mobile phone with MyPhoneExplorer program, it should be running well since the program detect my mobile phone quite good, but when I tried to synchronize it, the program automatically closed and windows message appeared and said the error and suggest to contact microsot, my computer running under windowsXP SP2.

I have many question for this MyPhoneExplorer program, and really hope many expert ones can help me.
1. is the MyPhone Explorer could be running well to all mobile phone brand and type or just only for SONY ERICSSON and special type ( lock by prgrammer)?
2. is the MyPhone Explorer really compatible running under windows XP SP2?
3. Can I change by my self, I meant add some source code to make it this program support all brand mobile phone and all type.

Hy, the program only works with SonyEricsson. There isn't a lock or something similar, but SonyEriccson has its own interface same as the most other manufacturers. And yes - its compatible with Windows XP SP2.

Sorry before, I have tried many mobile phones with oter software program syncrhonize, and it works well. SonyEricsson also running well with program like as Mobile Master program, and I do the same with my other mobile phone using MT6227 processor chipset Taiwan, and it works well also. It means the interface between SonyEricsson and my mobile phone using MT6227 not different to much, unfortunately my mobile phone using MT6227 won't running well on MyPhone Explorer program, although the MyPhone Explorer detected well my mobile phone that using MT6227 chipset.
Because MyPhone Explorer looks like familiar using for me than Mobile Master program, and also look more match features with my mobile phone that using MT6227 chipset processor.

Normally i don't support problems with other phones as SonyEricsson, but if you want you can post the logfile after the crash.

You already marked the important things bold. Your phone (or what ever it is) doesn't support the OBEX-Protocol the same way as it SonyEricssons phones do. So there is no way - sorry.

Thank you Mr. Admin for your answer and information, it means the MyPhone Explorer program not supports to all mobile phone, that's specialize for SonyEricsson.

I've tried many programs for synchronization mobile phone with the computer, almost all programs support for my mobile phone with using MT6227 chipset processor, maybe here the link you can consider to add some script or souce code to make MyPhoneExplorer progam could be perfectly.

Clever Cell Phone Manager:

and so on, like released by the BVRP.
those are the good programs that I've been testing for synchronize mobile phone with the computer.

Actualy, MyPhone Explorer is the best menu appeared with many features and user friendly, unfortunately not support for all mobile phone, only SonyEricsson.
