You tried also to make a new pairing between phone and PC ? Are you sure that MyPhoneExplorer Client was launched when you paired your phone the first time ? |

For the very first connection it is important to keep the right sequence:
- start MPE client manually on your phone first, because the client provides the SPP (Serial Port Profile) service, which is needed to create a virtual COM port later
- enable bluetooth on your devices and be sure they are visible to be found
- do the pairing
- verify that SPP is supported, you can verify by showing bluetooth services (MyPhoneExplorer should be listed in service list).
- when pairing is done, you should be able now to create a new outgoing virtual COM port inside your bluetooth software
- remember that COM port
- start MPE Desktop on your computer, goto settings and select that COM port created before
If all went well, you should be able to connect now.
best regards... |

I am glad to inform that my Zopo ZP998 running Android 4.4.2 version (Kitkat) works well in Bluetooth mode with MyPhoneExplorer.
Remember to follow exactly the steps mentioned in the FAQ, otherwise in Options of MPE client in the PC, the corresponding COM witll not be found (for example if you paired the devices before starting MPE application in the phone, it will not work). Once the right port with the name of the phone is shown and selected inside the combo-box, the connection with the phone is successful ! |

my HTC works perfectly on Windows 10 ( an upgrade from win-7 )
Bluetooth - yes
USB - yes
control phone/ load screen shot - yes
Mouse on Phone screen - works in all areas
phone calls received play though connected speakers
e.g 2XXPlantronic - earphone/mic, (alternately HTC speakers mic)
incoming call ringing plays though computer speakers as well as phone.
would be nice if the computer speakers and mic could be used
possible solution is to use input/output line "HTC to PC"
all good here .. I'm using MPE 1.8.7 |

- Phone Samsung Galaxy SM-T580
- Bluetooth connection
- MPE-version 1.8.8
- Windows version: Windows 7 enterprise
- firmware version: not sure where I find this?
Hi there,
I have successfully been using MPE via wifi for while but for a couple of reason I now need to use it with via a bluetooth connection. It will connect with no problems but when syncing files (this is all I use it for) it will start the sync process and during the stage of 'calculating needed file transfer...) it it will freeze and then crash.
Due to the crashing there is nothing reported in the log file but the windows error that is displayed is:
