I have just discovered MyPhoneExplorer having had problems with Outlook/HTC Desire syncing. It looks as though it is FAR BETTER. However, I can't seem to create an annually recurring event which is not registered as a birthday. Is it possible to do so? I'd really prefer not to remember the date someone has passed away as a birthday...! |

You mean the Anniversary-field of contacts in Android and Outlook ? If yes -> this field is currently not supported. Maybe it will be supported in future.
Yearly ruled events should work for sync. |

Thanks for the reply. What seems to have happened is that some events (usually the anniversary of someone's death) have imported from Outlook to MyPhoneExplorer as birthdays. If I try to change the event from birthday to recurrent event, it won't accept the edit and still appears as a birthday. I can create new non-birthday recurrent events, however... |

MyPhoneExplorer displays a birthday when it is a yearky ruled event with a 4-digit number in description. |

How do you mean this?
I mean, I have birthdays set for Outlook contacts that are synced correctly, so they appear on my phone (when syncing with MPE)
BUT. I lost this information both in Outlook and on the phone if I set a photo for my contact either in Outlook or on the phone. It can be clearly seen from the sync log that MPE deletes the birtday...Why????
Unfortunately the photo does not synced correctly.
Thanks! |
