Hi

I and several of my colleges have noticed that our Outlook 2010 hangs and restarts quite often if we have MyPhoneExplorer 1.8 installed.

If we uninstall it we don't have theese problems.

I don't know if it's a known problem but couldn't find anything in the English section of the forum.

Regards

I'm using Outlook 2010 32-bit and have noticed some instability since starting to use MPE 1.8, but nothing too troublesome. The benefits of the app have so far outweighed the occasional lock ups of Outlook.

I'm syincing via USB, are you syncing via USB also? I wonder if syncing via WiFi versus USB would be any different in terms of Outlook stability. Also, are you using MS Outlook 2010 32-bit or 64-bit? I'm also wondering if that might play a role.

@Noffe: Check if the MyPhoneExplorer-Addin is enabled in Outlook and if yes then disable it

MyPhoneExplorer-Addin

I searched the site and forum and was not able to find information regarding what the MyPhoneExplorer-Addin does. Is it not required for Outlook 2010? Is there any additional benefit? Other than being able to sync directly from inside Outlook as opposed to launching MyPhoneExplorer and then doing a Sync?
Thanks
Jeff B.

P.S. THis is a wonderful tool THank You Very Much for your time and effort.

The Addin adds the MyPhoneExplorer-Menubar and "Call"/"Send SMS" Menuitems to Contextmenu of Contacts. Its not needed for sync
