Dear Sir,

Can you please explain me the way to insert a pause between numbers while dialling a number (of internet calling card) through MPE and in Sony
Ericsson mobile phone.

Also I appreciate placing a global hot key to load appointments screen in MPE

Thanking you,

Franklin.K.F

Ensure that you are using at least v1.8.0. And use the character p as pause. f.e. 004912345p12344

I have not tried it myself, but heard that in Android you shall use a comma (",") for pause. So if the "p" does not work, try comma

Comma works good, but ...

Comma works good in the phone, but for me it disappears in the synch. from Outlook to the phone.
Is there a way to synch. the "," ?

Hello

Any plans to add support to inserting commas in the phone numbers for the pause needed for extension #'s? If the comma is inserted in the number on the Android phone, it gets removed after the sync and so the telephone number is not workable anymore.

Is there a workaround for this?

Pause and hash 'p' and "#"

This cannot be a hard fix. I have conference calls and I need these characters in the android version. When can we expect this ?

Sorry, its not your job to tell me what is hard or not. Its more work then expected cause internally MyPhoneExplorer uses only numeric numbers. Its planned for the next release. I never public timelines

Hi,

I tried the advice in an earlier post (use p for a pause). I can insert that OK in MPE but the phone just ignores the p and dials the extension as part of the number.

The other modifiers reported to work in Android phones (comma, semicolon and w) cannot be entered in MPE 1.8.0 (just to save everyone trying).

In any case I have not found any character like this working in the xPeria phone (android 2.1) when entered through its user interface. This is not a recommendation for this phone!
