Is it currently possible to "transfer calls" using MPE 1.8.1 (Android ). This is different to merge calls.
"Call Transfer" is a standard feature of many carriers. It is usuallly achieved by pressing "4" and then "send".
Call transfer is usually achieved as follows:
A party calls B party
B Party calls C party (A is on hold)
B Party presses "4" send (or press transfer menu option)
A is then connected to C while B party is disconnected
A and C can now talk (B party has been released)
This is a great feature if MPE is used to replace small office PBX.
Many incoming calls to a single number (MPE) . All calls are transferred to other staff members mobile phones.
If yes - i already tried to implement this but its not possible cause of security restrictions in Android.

Hi,
No, not DTMF tones. The transfer function actually uses signalling channel, not in-band DTMF. It is technically identical to dialling a new number with just "4" as the destination.
I think in some telcos - they call this "supplimentary service" control ( Just like "call hold"..
