Hi,
Just found this program today and love it! My company has very strict security rules, so if I don't use my phone for one minute I have to re-enter the pin. Kind of a pain...

This brings me to my next question, as more people liked the software and would like to install it...How's the security? There's no password for connecting, so it seems anyone can connect to any phone - or is this taken care of?

cause of security:

You can connect MyphoneExplorer with your phone in 3 ways:
- via USB cable, in this case it is only possible to connect to your phone if a person has access to the place where you've connected your phone with cable
- via WLAN, in this case you can give a personal PIN in your phone's settings of the MPE-client.
- via bluetooth, in this case you have to do a pairing of your PC's BT with your phone's BT and therefore you have also to give a personal PIN on both sides (PC and phone)

For the PC part of MPE you can give a password for your profile under File > Users > (your device).
You can also encrypt all the data of MPE stored on your PC in
File > Settings > Extended 2

Ok. Wifi is my only option, really. It just seemed that anyone could connect, but you needed the pin to send a sms...My issue isn't with anyone gaining access to my computer, but if someone else can use their client to connect to my phone.

So, if they don't know your PIN for WLAN in the client, they cannot.
