I have a new Galaxy S2 and am trying to sync only from outlook to my phone. I have contacts and tasks fine. when syncing to my Outlook 2003 calendar (even when Outlook is closed) my reminders open, then "Outlook expereinces problems and needs to close" message appears. MPE then gets a "connection to phone not possible" message and then MPE closes. (what has synced in calendar is mostly the recurring events, holidays and birthdays, and one of my recurring events has what looks like a hundred duplicates in one day) Same thing happened for notes except when I close the message the sync continues and the message pops up again. I have spent hours searching for a solution, here an on the internet in general. Please help! I am running Windows Vista. |

How many events you have saved in Outlook ? Do you have installed Advanced Security in Outlook ? |

I am syncing future and the 365 days before. In the syncing process it has said anything between 670 to 1116 events.
I don't believe I have any advanced security installed in Outlook. |

I really have no idea, is there an easy way for outlook to show me that information. with birthdays, holidays and appointments it would be quite a number. |

So does no response mean no solution or help? Just wanted to let you know that I found I can sync with my Windows Calendar live using a Hotmail app and it works great. I ahve it on outlook so don't need this to sync anymore. |
