Good evening, my virus checker tells me that there is a virus within MyPhoneExplorer file called androidos/dogowar.a!generic .
Is this a virus and how do I remove it? My Virus checker just identified it but did not delete or immunise it. Thanks Rhonda

Have done as you suggest and downloaded AVG antivirus for Mobile Android. On checking the settings AVG does not recomment "USB debugging" except for software deployment purposes and suggests disabling USB Debugging. MPE is the only program that requires USB debugging to be active. Should I ignore the AVG request or disable this and then enable every time I want to sync the phone? Thanks Rhonda

On recent attempted downloads of the MyphoneExplorer_Debugupdate my Norton Internet Security V19 quarantines the download with the threat "Suspicious.Cloud.7.EP".

The last successful download was V1.8.2 nightly dated 10/12/2011

Tried this on two PCs Win 7 Starter and XP SP3 with the same result. Norton used on both and virus definitions up to date.

@Rhonda: There are alot of softwares which require enabled USB-Debugging. The Debugging interface is the only interface which works on all Android-based phones. Other interfaces to work only on Samsung or others in HTC,...

@Gpsboy: Also the beta is clean. I have alot of work so i will not ask the AV-Producers to check there definition again and again. At least not for the beta, on the official setup its more important
