MyPhoneExplorer stop just after starting

Hello,
I have installed MPE on my computer (in my working office) and on my android phone.
First connexion : everything is OK and I can also sync my Lotus agenda with my phone!
But if I close MPE on my computer and want to restart it : it opens correctly but it closes automaticly after! Shocked

The solution I found : modify the LastUser to "LastUser=0" in the general.ini file.
Then I can start (I have to chose the right user and it is fine)
So I think the problem comes from the user data, but I don't know which one.
Any Idee to solve this probem?

For info my configuration :
PC :Win XP SP3
MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.2

Android phone : Viewsonic V350 with android 2.3.7

Hello there!
FJ I'm having a similar problem here: program opens up and starts loading, but when list of contacts starts to load then it just stops functioning, kind of like crushing.... Any ideas???

What you need to check it?

Please send me the file %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini via email so i can try to reproduce. Also rename the userfolder for a test

Hello FJ,
I have sent you the general.ini file. I hope it will help you.
For the userfolder, what I made :
- in my %appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\ folder, I changed the name of my phone folder from "FIH ViewSonic-V350 ..." to "test"
- I restarted PME and it didn't reconized my phone, so it create a new one, with the same name "FIH ViewSonic-V350 ..."

Did I do the right thing?

there was a great piece of software called MyPhoneExplorer that allowed you to control the phone from the desktop including synchronising your phonebook, organizer, call list, messages as well as editing, texting and the ability to even take screenshots. The guys behind MyPhoneExplorer have now released an Android version.

Hi I had the same problem, MPE close automatically at the start. I found out that there's some erroneous entries in the Organiser.dat, in case in
D:\Documents and settings\my ID\Application Data\MyphoneExplorer\ 'the phone model'

TO find wich entry is erroneous, I had to delete the suspicious entries (it is usually when there's # beside RRULE) one by one, save organiser.dat and try to open MPE.
when I found the erroneous entrie(s), I delete it or them from organiser.dat, from Lotus Notes and from my phone.

it is a little bit boring; but this is the only solution I found.

Please send me the Organizer.dat or at least the exact RRULE line so i can fix the problem
