Google sync nada :(

Hi !

My telephone is a w880i. I just switched provider so the syncml protocol with m.google.com doesn't work anymore. So my idea for updating my contact list (which is now empty) is to do it through the USB connection with the PC.

MPE talks to the phone, no problem on this side I think.
MPE also talks to google, as far as sniffing the packets going in and out can show.
No proxy or filters to talk to the internet.

I have about 10 000 contacts, but I want to load only a few on the telephone : 126 are on the "My contacts" list. Most of the other entries don't have a phone number associated, they come from various mailing list I've subscribed.

The Sync Settings just specify my Google account. with the force Google -> phone priority.

When I hit the Sync button, the phone wakes up, and goes in the Sync in progress screen.
MPE displays a popup Please wait... Sync phonebook... Sync contacts with google.

And this is it.

After a while I can click on [X] to close the popup, and then the new pop up displays Ërror... Loading entries from Google failed! 200 OK.

The password is ok (is I changed it I will have a 4XX error code).
The contacts size ~ 2.13 MB (size of the file in VCF format with all the 10K cards exported from Google). at a speed > 10 Mbit/s it should take a few seconds to download.

Update : it works, but it took a loooooooong time :

I think that - like when I was using m.google.com/syncml - only the contacts in "My contacts" should be updated (or it could be an option).
