[Solved] Galaxy Note not recognised

Hi all, just downloaded latest version 1.8.2, installed on both Win 7 and Android 4.0.3. Also installed all the Kies drivers successfully. Read all the howtos above. Enables USB debugging.

As soon as I press F1 to connect, progress bar gets up to 50% and then an error box pops up:
"Connection to phone could not be establised: Phone could not be identified"

I only have USB cable access, it's a work PC with no bluetooth of Wifi.

Maybe a firewall issue. Normally its not needed to launch "MyPhoneExplorer Client" when you connect throught USB, but it seems that MPE does detect a not existing connection which breaks. So please launch "MyPhoneExplorer Client" on the phone and then try again

Win 7 firewall is open to MPE.

Launched the client on the phone 1st and then on the desktop, same results.

Restarted twice this morning, came up with mtd and device unidentified errors. Disconnect, restarted, reloaded device drivers, used Kies to rebuild drivers, reboot again, wait, wait wait...
Now it works!

I hate Windows! Restart, restart, retard, retard .... Evil or Very Mad
