SMS - Standard / UCS2 Switching
SMS - Standard / UCS2 Switching
Hello,
It's been a while since I updated my MPE, I have just upgraded from 1.4.5 into 1.5.8. Wow. Thank you so very much for such a great tool!
I also saw that among the "many bug fixes", you took the time to fix the issue I raised in June, here. Works great now - thank you!
Now, a small bug report. When I compose a new SMS message, MPE tries to detect the characters being typed, and switch into UCS2 mode when it detects a "complex script" character. This is a great feature. With some characters from the Hebrew language, though, it does not do the switching correctly. With other Hebrew characters, it does - and properly switches into UCS2.
I paste these characters below, hopefully this forum dialog will carry them through:
אהוזטילסעצרש
It would be great if you could look into this issue.
Thank you very much again,
Doron

Hello,
Just a reminder of a long-standing issue (as described at the top of this thread) - any chance you will be able to address this?
If there's anything I can do to help you zero on the problem - please, just ask.
I'm a long-time user of this fantastic tool and this little issue gets in the way quite often.
Thank you very much!!
