I would appreciate if someone could have a look at the debug file I posted and tell me if he/she has any clue about the possible reasons of my Galaxy S4 not connecting

Have you read through the FAQ that goes into detail about adb drivers? And have you tried connecting via wifi? Personally I find wifi much more convenient.

Yes, I read the FAQ and I have installed the latest release of the ADB drivers.
No matter WIFI is protected by pwd, I would prefer the USB connection for general security purposes.

First you should shut down your android emulator instance.
Then plug in your phone and try to connect. When you connect you will probably get a security prompt on the phone, activate "Always allow" and confirm the prompt.

I must admit, that I have not read, nor understand ye debug log.

So it is possible that the steps I took on me one-sies, may not work fer ye.

I found that upon try'n to update the drivers, Samsung "Suggessts" it best ta BUY a "Driver Detective" ta update the drivers for Samsung. As me pockets don't jingle much, I chose to connect over USB in it's stead.

I found that the "My Phone Explorer" client in the phone said that the debug mode was on.
So I (reluctantly, and with risk) found a way ta disable it. I found online how from the "\\settings\More...\about device" when ye press the (grayed out) "Build number" (7) times (I also turned in (3) Circles) it unlocked the debugger mode.

My Samsung Galaxy S4 was then able to connect over the USB, and in turn, updated my drivers over the USB, so that my Bluetooth also worked better.

That's me (2) cents worth.
Ye really want ta hear me babble on, ask me about me sync issues I fixed.

Ye may want ta disable the accounts from sync'n with their counter parts.
I had Hotmail, and me Corporate mail, sync'n so that I would duplicate Contacts, and Events, every time I sync'd with "MyPhone". Now all is right in me phones world.
