Firstly let me thank you for this excellent software, I use it every day and I love it, except for one little problem.

Maybe there's a setting that I've missed but I've noticed that if I attempt to send an SMS with more than 630 characters I get a 'Send failed!' message. My mobile (Motorola RAZR i) and carrier (T-Mobile UK) support longer messages - I've just sent a 1892 character message (directly from the mobile) without any problem and confirmed receipt of the full message. Your software even received the full message - all 1892 characters - when the recipient forwarded it back to me. The message was sent as multipart SMS as expected - not changed to MMS by the mobile.

I've also noticed that including 'carriage return' (or maybe 'new line' is the correct term?) characters - I mean starting a new line or paragraph - reduces this 630 character limit still further.

I'm using 1.8.4 of the desktop client, 1.0.23 of the mobile app. Windows XP on the desktop and a Motorola RAZR i running Android 4.1.2, connecting over Bluetooth.

Do you have the ability to test another Android phone with your current provider ?

On my Nexus this issue does not appear so maybe its a limitation of Motorola. Are you able to send long messages with other SMS-Apps from Google Play Store ?
