I have the above phone (GT-I8730) running Android 4.1.2 (Jellybean).
When your list of phones says "MyPhoneExplorer will work with every phone which is based on Android 1.6 or newer!" does that mean 4.1.6, so it won't work on my phone? - which it won't: none of the possible connections is working and I've trouble-shooted them all... will post log if it turns out the software IS compatible...

No, MPE supports all Android Versions since 1.6 (codename Donut) up to current version 4.3 (codename Jelly Bean).

MPE-Client-App on phone is installed and started?
Did you follow the How to's?
In case of USB-Connection: ADB-drivers are installed and USB-Debugging is turned on?

Thanks: I kept searching and exploring the forum and found and tried the ADB drivers even though I have Samsung Kies installed, and have managed to get the USB connection working. No luck with either the bluetooth or wifi connections, but that might be my bluetooth device and my modem, so I'll explore those when I have more time.
