Some Outlook calendar events synced to MPE and phone wrong

Hi,

I am attempting to sync my phone calendar with Outlook 2010. It mostly works EXCEPT for two specific cases. 1. Meeting events that originate in Malaysia on my US calendar show up on the wrong day (one day later). A meeting scheduled from Malaysia will show up at the correct time during daylight savings time, but on the WRONG day (one day later). Now Malysia is nearly a day ahead of my timezone, so a meeting that they schedule on their Friday morning is supposed to show up on my Thursday night, (and does in Outlook) but in MPE on Windows, AND synced to the phone calendar, it shows up at the correct time during daylight savings time but on Friday, not Thursday. Now that we switched to standard time, they are showing up a day light AND an hour later than they should (example a wed 3:30PM PST shows up on Thursday 4:30 PST).

#2 Meetings scheduled from Arizona during daylight savings time, now show up an hour later then they should.

My timezone is set correctly in the phone. I've tried syncing fresh. I've looked for anything in the settings that could affect this but the conclusion I've come to is that MPE does NOT handle timezones properly.

Is this fixable?? THX

These problems are known. I tried already to fix it but when i do this then alot of other users have this problem (where it worked before).
You can try if it works better with the old Outlook-Interface:

- Start-Run-%appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini-OK
- add a new line below [Main]: UseOutlookObjectModel=1
- save the file

Hi,

Holiday season delayed me from getting to this quickly.

Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately, i get a error now when trying to sync. I get the Synchronise organizer... screen sit there for a long time then error with "Connection to Outlook failed!"

Please post the logfile after the error message appeared
