USB/Wifi tethering option missing

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2, Android version 4.1.2. MyPhoneExplorer version 1.8.6. I noticed if the Control phone menu is used, my phone's usb/wifi tethering will be missing with only Bluetooth tethering option left until I close the control phone form. Is this normal?

I never saw this issue and i cannot reproduce it on my Galaxy Nexus but if the option is missing exactly when "Control phone" is used then its probably by design from Samsung and not a bug.

So I guess it only happens to my Samsung S2 phone. Thanks for the help.
