MPE Notes have have all vanished

Using Samsung Galaxy S5. Using MyPhoneExplorer desktop application on Windows 7 Ultimate.

I have been using MPE for several months and have accumulated scores of notes in the MPE Notes application. I synchronize only between my S5 and my MPE desktop application, NEVER with anything "cloud" based.

I made a note yesterday at 4:30 PM directly to the phone and when I synchronized today, all notes on the desktop computer application vanished except the one I made at 4:30 PM yesterday. All notes still exist on the phone and only that one note in the MPE desktop application (on the computer).

How do I get these notes back onto my computer?

Does anyone know what caused this?

I cannot explain this issue, sorry.
Press the second button in the toolbar "Download entire", this should make all notes appearing again. Then export all notes into a single *.vnt-File as backup. Do NOT press the sync at the moment because there is a risk that MPE will mirror the current state of the PC-Software to the phone (= delete old notes which are not in MPE)

I had duplicates of almost all my notes on my DROID4, so I deleted one of each pair. Then I synced with Outlook. Now most of my notes are gone from Outlook and from the desktop of MyPhoneExplorer. But they are still on the DROID. How can I copy the the notes from the DROID into MyPhoneExplorer and Outlook? I think I better back them up on the phone (I should have backed up Outlook). How do I do a backup on the phone?

That worked to restore back to the phone.
