Duplicate contacts - large database - MyPhoneExplorer hangs

I recently changed my phone to Samsung Note4 (kitkat 4.4.4) and tried to sync with my outlook contacts. But due to some reason other than outlook, google contacts, facebook contacts, samsung contacts ALL got transfered to the phone creating multiple copies of many contacts, even contacts that have only emails and no names.

Normally my contact list was approx 2500-3500 contacts. Now the phone has over 16000 contacts. And even worst sync with Outlook starts and some contacts are uploaded but than the Sync simply hangs....

Anyone any solutions or help please.
