Split SMS (Text Messages) Issue in KitKat 4.4

Hey Guys,

Can someone please confirm if the issue of split sms messages has been fixed in Lollipop version?

The issue started in KitKat version where you have to choose MPE as a default SMS app before you send a long message ( over 160 Characters) when you type from your computer.

If you don't choose MPE as default SMS app and send a long message from your PC by using MPE it will split the long messages.

I would appreciate if someone can reply - Cheers

Good day,
We have upgraded the firmware on the Samsung mini S4 to 4.4.3 and even after setting the My Explorer as the default sms platform, the sms' are still being broken up into smaller chunks.

If you could provide us with a work around / fix to this issue, we would be very happy to make a donation / paid licence fee?

Guys, read the forum.
This is nothing that can be fixed from the MPE. It´s still an Android issue and you will have to deal with it.

Hey People,

Those who have been suffering from this issue, I am please to announce that Split SMS (Text Messages) Issue in KitKat 4.4 IS NOW FIXED IN LOLLIPOP OS of Android.

I have just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy 4 to Lollipop from KitKat version, the upgrade came from Samsung as normal upgrade to the OS through update settings on the phone, no phone rooting or any other software used to upgrade the OS to Lollipop.

I have tested it several times before posting this message, You can now send long messages with MyPhoneExplorer and they DO NOT Split after 160 Characters, and YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE YOUR SETTINGS ON THE PHONE TO DEFAULT TO MyPhoneExplorer before sending the message from MPE, its like the old days EXCEPT now if you want to delete a message from MPE application it will now prompt you to change the setting to MPE on the phone before it deletes the message. The prompt comes up on the phone as well asking you to change the default application to MPE before it deletes the message. As soon as the message is deleted the default application is changed to messaging by itself. I guess I can live with this.

I have been so happy with MyPhoneExplorer, have been using it for a long time, it works like a charm. FJ Thank you, You are great man.
