Please what is the best way of managing backup of playlists on a Samsung e.g. S3 running Android 4.3?

Looking at the Playlist folder on the device, the files seem to have zero size even though there are entries when the stock "Music" app is opened?

Found an app called "Playlist Backup" id is org.ssi.playlistbackup on googleplay, which enables one to export the playlist to plain text. This can then be backed up by MPE. Text file can be manually changed and re-imported.
