btDaemon error

Hello,

With 1.87, i get an unexpected error at launch which prevents use of the program during some time.
After investigation, I found it is caused by btDaemon.exe. (no bluetooth on the machine)

I have to select manually the connection type to avoid this error if I want to change from cable to wifi and vice-versa. which is not really friendly.

Ideally, this situation should be managed transparently by the program to avoid preventing use of it...

For clarification, you run the MPE on a computer without bluetooth and have set the MPE to select the way of connection by itself. As there is no bluetooth it comes to an error in the process of connecting a phone to the MPE. Is that right?
What is the complete text of that error message?

Yes, PC without Bluetooth and re-yes, set auto select connection.

The first message is from btdaemon (translated) :"Unexpected error; abort".

Then, I get a new message box from MyPhoneExplorer (translated) :
"Impossible to execute action as other application is occupied. Choose switch to active the occupied application and correct the problem." and i have tho buttons "Switch to" and "Retry"; Cancel is greyed.

This second box is displayed several times and finally, after some time, I can finally use the program.

Ideally, this situation should be insvisible for the user, with the program skipping the bluetooth intialization when it dont find bluetooth device. Currently I have solved the problem by renaming btdaemon.exe, biut it is not a proper solution !

I have also a suggestion for the developer. In the "Messages" zone, there is no sync icon like in other zones. It is only possible to refresh (sync) with a mouse right click. An icon in tool bar whould be welcome !

For the BT problem, I think FJ will have to take a look at this.

Well, there is no sync in the messages like in the other parts of MPE. That´s the reason why there is no sync-button. I don´t think FJ will put one in there.
