S7 and Marshmallow compatibility

Greetings. I am a long-time MPE user and considering moving to a Samsung S7 phone. I am wondering if there has been much testing on Marshmallow and if I could expect the most recent MPE phone client to sync to outlook 2016 on my windows PC.

Currently working flawlessly with a Samsung S5 and Outlook 2016.

I run Marshmallow (6.0.1) on my S4 and have no problems. I've had several different ROMs on the S4 and all have worked with no problems at all.

I remember back in the day when going to a new phone you needed to delete the old profile in MPE and create a new one or else you had problems.

Based on the behavior I saw when I installed the latest MPE on a new computer, it looks like it creates a new profile the first time you plug in a phone (whether that phone is blank or not). So am I correct I don't need to do that anymore?

Plug in the phone...it will create a new profile, "sync" automatically (I like to call this download the phone contents to MPE) and then you can do your settings and sync it for real to outlook. I always turn on the "verify sync" before writing and also for the first time switch it to sync one way from outlook to phone.

Is that about right?
