When my battery is low, MPE sends notifications to my PC every 5 seconds.
I unactivated MPE notifications in Windows 10 : Set up / System / Notifications and actions.
My problem is that after a while MPE is activated again. Does MPE force WIndows 10 setup? I do not understand
Thanks |

I don't know whether MPE can override settings in Windows, but did you have a look at the settings in MPE?
File -> Settings (or F2) -> Desktop-Notification
Here you can either disable all all Desktop-Notifications (Button on the upper right) or select the apps from which Notifications should NOT be shown by putting a check mark in front of one app listed in the list on the lower left. |

In a Windows 10 forum, I was told that may be MyPhoneExplorer could chage it if it had an administrator status. I want to block these notifications at my PC level since I cannot find a way to block them at MPE level.
As for File -> Settings (or F2) -> Desktop-Notification , the way it works is not clear to me : The notifications I get are not related to apps but to the phone itself, like low battery, sms, or when I make a call. I don't want to have all this on my PC and I did not activate anything in settings.
When I go to File -> Settings (or F2) -> Desktop-Notification , what I see "current state unknown". A button proposes to "request state"
If I do so and then click on it, I get "current state disabled", and the button description changes to "Enable desktop notification" which lets me suppose it was ealier activated.
But If I get out of settings and come back later, "current state unknown" was not saved. I really do not understand how it works |

Still the same boring issue.
the battery notification is every 10 seconds ! Not every 5 seconds as I earlier wrote but every 10 seconds. Quite a harassment
And despite my choice not to get any notification from MPE, I get this one |

If there is a way to adjust the frequency from, say, every 10 seconds to every 2 minutes, it would make the low battery alerts more tolerable. But I can't find any way to control them except closing MPE.
I also do not understand how the "Desktop-Notifications" settings panel works. I have checked all the apps to NOT be shown, but the battery alerts continue. I have even seen the "Current state" = *disabled*, but still the battery alerts continue.
As near as I can tell, the only way to stop the low battery alerts is to close MPE. |

What version of MPE are you using? If I remember correctly, there was a "1.8.7 nightly" which solved the problem. Have a look here: http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?p=118398#118398 |

Thanks. I installed the latest beta and the constant low battery alerts have stopped. I get only a single notification when I start MPE. I'll have to look into the settings later.
Cheers!
