Phone Image

This is a very good program that I have been using for about one year.

It is so good that the backup saves system data and files. I wonder if it saves all of them and if the restore operation can be used as a phone image to completely replace what is on the phone, safely. I am talking about an Android system.

I could not find any information in the FAQ or sticky posts. Maybe it is not possible, but it was good to be sure.

No, MPE does not, and cannot, save/restore a 'phone image'.

Thank you for the information.

What about restoring data and applications from a backup?
If we reinstall the apps by hand if works, no doubt, of course.
But will the restored apps work also as installed, as when they were backed up? Or do we have to always reinstall them by hand?
I have made frequent backups and restores, but not from the "Extras" menu.
