When I read open a SMS in MyPhoneExplorer it would be great if it could mark the SMS in the phone as read also. As it is now I have to go to the phone and read every SMS a second time there .. (UIQ3 P1i phone)
Otherwhise GREAT program! simply love it! |

I use MPE at work and find the phone keypad very useful - Each time I send an SMS, my service provider sends a flash message telling me my balance and it's nice to clear this with the "B" key. However, when I minimize MPE, the keypad stays behind and retains focus. Is there a possibility to "attach" the keypad to the main MPE window so that it would also be minimised along with the main window? A minor complaint, but it's something that would make me very happy!
I would also like to speak up in support of FJ's view that you should press "shift+enter" in order to send a text message in the chat window. Far too many times I have pressed "enter" by mistake in MSN and sent half a message. The same would be true with MPE if it weren't for the "shift+enter" feature, so I vote for it to stay, but if the option is going to be there for both modes of operation, then I guess everybody will be happy.
Thanks,
Pete |

1) Its too minor. I think the Control-Phonewindow should be seperatly, you can also open it from rightclick in traymenu
2) Sift+Enter option will be avaiable in the next update |

Oh, that's sad, because it is really annoying

Yes, this is also the normal behaviour, but this was definitely not what happened to me. But I don't know under which specific circumstances this bug is provoked, and therefore it can be hard to find. |

Hi, and thank's for a great software!
I sync multiple google calendars, and it would be really handy if I could prefix all events that are not from my main calendar. Either with the Calendar's name, or with a configurable prefix per calendar.
So, for example, if I have a colleague called Martin, and I sync his calendar, and he has an entry called "meeting with customer X", I would get "Martin: meeting with customer X" in my phone, instead of just "meeting with customer X" (which might in certain cases get confusing ) |

Rejected.
often discussed, the sense in syncing is to keep two storages equal. If i add own prefixes it would be very hard to sync it back correct. |

Hi there !
Probably already asked, but a search only returned a very old unanswered post.
Do you have any plans/ideas for a podcast implementation ?
With these phones being often used as MP3 players, I think this feature would have a huge success !
Of course there are a lot of things to take into account, and maybe a lot of settings to manage, but I am quite sure that this is worth the hassle !
Cheers, and bravo for your incredible piece of software !!! |

Hi there! Thanks for the great software.
I see birthday items has the "cake" icon but how does the smiley icon come about? (Xmas as "All Day Event")
It will be nice if we can add icons to the calendar item, perhaps by category?
Thanks!
Joe

The smilie and the !-sign means that it is a holiday. You can see the holiday on top of the daylist. It has nothing to do with the events on this day. The holidays get parsed through a holidayfile which you can set in the options. |

Yes, users of UIQ phones have this "Folder" option on their phones to categorise items we put in Contacts, Calendar, Notes and Tasks.
Currently, new contacts/calendar items etc created using MPE goes into the "Unfiled" folder on the phone. It'll be nice if we can put items in "Folder" directly on MPE to avoid having to re-categorise them on the phone ..... just my thoughts
Hey, thanks again for this great software! |

For Calendar and tasks it would be possible. For contacts its impossible wo read/write categories. We are talking from Symbian-Phones. Normal phones still do not show any category in phone |
