I was struggling with making Control Phone feature working on my Galaxy S2 phone with CM13. With the latest 1.8.7 MPE version, it doesn't work - controlling wroks, but screen is not rendered. I noticed that MPE 1.8.7 uses "Cast screen" on the phone. Unfortunately the screen is updated only when I check and then uncheck the "show mouse pointer on the phone". Then a single refresh is done. The refresh button doesn't work too.
Then I tried to install MPE 1.8.6, which seems NOT to be using the Cast screen and the Control phone works well (but slowly).
Is it possible to somehow solve the issue with the "cast screen"? In the worst case re-introduce the second checkbox - "refresh automatically"? Since it works when check+uncheck "show mouse pointer on the phone", it should be possible to implement the auto refresh feature too.
Could I help you somehow with solving the problem?
