don't want to delete pictures

Hello,

I've long been in the habit of using MPE to backup entire phone (contacts, pictures, etc) to PC. But I haven't deleted pics from my phone before.

Recently, I wanted to clear lots of space from my phone, but of course still save the PC copy of my pics. So I used MPE to backup my pics from phone to PC. (The MPE section for Files, then I clicked the "Sync photos" button.) It correctly made a copy of all pics from my phone. I disconnected my phone from MPE, made sure in MPE that the backup was safe, and made sure in the filesystem itself, too. All safe.

So then I manually (not MPE) deleted the pics from my phone. Then I re-confirmed on the PC filesystem that backup was still there and safe.

A little later, after taking a few more pics, I did another of my routine MPE backups. But this time, instead of simply adding the new pics to those that already existed on the PC, MPE deleted the pics that previously existed on the PC. The backup location (on the filesystem) now just has the new pics, and all previous pics are gone.

Fortunately I'm able to recover them from an off-PC backup that I keep. But what MPE settings should I set to prevent this problem in the future? What MPE settings will cause MPE to backup all pics found on phone, but NEVER delete anything from PC (even if a corresponding pic no longer exists on phone)?

I'm on MPE version 1.8.8.
