Is it possible to connect via MPE to both a phone and tablet? I can get it to talk to my phone, but there's no connection to the tablet (also a droid - Galaxy Tab S).

Yes, ist's possible... It must only installed on PC the right ADB driver for each device and on the phone or tab the USB- debugging should switched on...
