Security: Why connect to the Internet in USB-mode?

I am only using the USB-Wired-mode
Even Though - my Firewall tells me, that MyPhoneExplorer is trying to connect to the Internet when starting up MyPhoneExplorer
I cannot connect to my phone if I do not allow this internet activity

Why are MyPhoneExplorer trying to go on the Internet, when I am connecting to the phone through the USB cable?

Could be reassuring if the developers / owners (or others who knows a thing or two) would like to spend just 5 minutes to explain why my firewall warns me that MyPhoneExplorer is trying to connected to the Internet (even though my PC is only connected to at my mobile through a USB cabel)?

Is Check for new version enabled? If yes, disable it...

I was almost going to say (write) How stupid of me... Wink

But unfortunately ... Even though I unable checking for new updates, MyPhone Expl. still will not connect to the mobile phone (through USB, not Wifi) unless I allow an internet connection in my firewall - as indicated in the previously attached pictures.

Anyone knows why?

that's right, you need for a USB Connection with MyphoneExplorer several accesses to the local network 127.0.0.1
This is no access to the Internet
