New computer - Outlook option missing

I've been using MPE for years and years on many different devices. I just upgraded my laptop and now MPE doesn't list Outlook as an option under Sync.

I installed version 1.8.9 on my laptop. My laptop is running Windows 10 Home 64-bit with Outlook 2016 MSO 32-bit. (I previously was running Outlook 2013 64-bit)

When I 'm on file>settings>sync I don't have Outlook 2016 as an option in the drop down menu for Contacts, Events, or Notes. I've got only 4 items : only Myphoneexplorer, windows contacts, vcard-file contacts, internal sync-database.

This was working just fine on my previous laptop. Is this a problem with Outlook 2016?

I've reinstalled MPE, didn't help.

I've run repair on MS Office, didn't help.

We decided to try uninstalling MS Office and reinstalling everything - same version, but this time it worked. In case this helps anyone else - the difference may have been that initially we used the install that came with the new laptop. But then we did a fresh install and it worked. I can now sync with MPE.
