Last text message (most recent) won't sync to MPE

I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this strange quirk. I'm able to sync everything without a problem except for the last text message that is sent to me. I can't tell if it's an Android problem or MPE. I tried rebooting the phone, clearing the messaging app's cache and data, deleting the user in MPE and syncing again but nothing works. I probably could in some way archive all of the messages and import them to MPE's messages folder but it would be obviously cumbersome to do frequently and it really defeats the purpose of having the sync feature. Any help or thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
