Hi
i've been Myphoneexplorer for several years and is a happy user - except right now
Because when I tried to open it today - after it hasn't been open for 1-2 weeks (use it most for backup on pc), it is stopping at "loading userdata".
I've installed the newest version when it was ready for download and it has been working - until now.
I have testet the following:
1. Downgrade to an older version of MPE - no luck
2. Delete SMSArchive.dat - then it works, also with the newest version, but with an empty archive
3. I've tried older backup of the database appr ½ year old - still the same.
Is there any way I rescue my data ?? - I have text messages for the last 7 years in it and I would be sorry to lose them |

I have now tried on an older Win 7 PC - where it works with the same database.
So - is it an Windows Update that prevent usage of an to large database ?? There is appr. 78000 text messages in the database. |

Workaround
- Windows 7 PC: Split the SMS, for example in 7 years and export each year separately
- Windows 10 PC: Import as needed |

I have run into the same problem. After a Win10 update, MPE stopped loading - the screen freezes and MPE uses about 25% CPU, but won't actually open.
I tried going to a restore point before the update, but it didn't resolve the problem.
I tried reinstalling MPE, but that didn't solve it either. |

I have now tried that - after appr 10000 sms import (2 years) it simply stops working, when I try to import the no 3 batch.
But I can see that I'm not the only one with this problem |

I have tested the archive up to 50.000 items without any issue.
Would you send me please your archive file via email so i can test the issue on my PC ? Please attach also a link to this thread so i know what i have to test. |

Hi
I just tried to export it splitted up in chunks of appr 10000 textmessages from my working Win 7 PC and importing to my Win 10 where I cleared the database.
It took some time, but then it worked |
