Does Noone else have this issue. It is a size issue as small files download but large video files will not

Got the same issue. Thinking it could be to do with the method used for speeding up wifi transfers? Whatever that code looks like .... :-)

the only way round this issue for me is to upload to drive from the phone then download them to my computer.
Has to be a fix surely

Are you sure you have enough memory on the drive with your MPE Data folder?

I just noticed an issue when copying lots of files between the phone and the PC with MPE Portable on a memory stick with only 5GB free space.

The cache fills up and is only freed when you exit MPE.

Thus I could not perform a copy operation with more than 5GB of files. But even when I tried to split the copy operation into multiple smaller copies, I had to close and restart MPE after 5GB to clear the file cache.

Yes heaps of room. It's on a desktop computer with more than a TB free.

What's the size of your video and your computer's RAM?

video is 12mb

I can download around 6mb

But even photos are an issue if I download 2x 3mb its ok but try 3x3mb and it dies.

computer ram is 16gb

Weird, my issue is clearly due to the limited space on the drive where my MPE Portable is located.

I noticed a difference in the implementation of the data transfer if you use drag&drop or the save button in the file section.

In case you used drag&drop, try to use the blue down arrow to save your files locally.

Try the following entry in the general.ini under [Main]

Code: Alles auswählen

NoHighspeedFiletransfer=1

You find the path:
computer => MPE => <F2> => Advanced 2 => Database

path=[Database]\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini

or standard over Windows => Start => Input => %appdata%\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer

Enable "Delete filecache on exit" in Menu-File-Settings-Advanced 2 and restart MyPhoneExplorer - is the problem fixed now?
How much free disk space you have left on C:\ ?
