I have been using MyPhoneExplorer successfully to connect an HP desktop running Windows 10 with a mobile device (Samsung S8 running Android 8.0.0). I connect via USB cable as the PC does not have WiFI or BlueTooth connection.

Windows 10 became corrupted on the desktop and a fresh installation was carried out last week.

I am now trying to reinstall all the old software. I have just reinstalled MyPhoneExplorer.

These are the steps I followed:

1. Installed driver ClockworkMod Universal ADB drivers as advised in Help
2. Installed Samsung SmartSwitch: https://www.samsung.com/uk/getting-started/smart-switch/
3. Installed MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.11.
4. Reinstalled MyPhoneExplorer Client on mobile device.
5. Enabled USB debugging on mobile device

To establish a connection via USB cable, I connect the PC to the phone via USB cable and select the 'Add User' in MyPhoneExplorer. When I then select the USB option, I get the message 'No Device Attached to USB'.

The MyPhoneExplorer Client on the mobile device also says USB cable not plugged in. However, the USB cable is plugged into a USB 2.0 port on the desktop and the phone is charging.

Here is the log:

I have managed to connect via WiFi and everything is working via that route.

I would like to get USB working as it will most likely allow quicker data transfer for the large amount of data I am syncing.

I have a similar situation under Window 7 with a Huawei Y7. Since a while I'm only able to connect via WiFi but not via USB anymore. USB debugging is enabled.
Also the HISuite does not connect to the phone.

Anyone got a glimpse?
