Connection via wifi works good, but there is no connection via USB cable.

I tried to:
- check the versions, all versions are latest
- install UniversalAdbDriverSetup6
- download drivers from site http://adbdriver.com/downloads/ doesn't work
- use all 3 connection options, charging only, data, photos

I just see the message, in my language, so I try to translate it:

"USB cable is connected
USB "tuning"(?) is off!"

What it means and how to connect the phone via USB cable?

HiSuite from Huawei works good.

MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.12 portable, client v1.0.68, Windows 10 Home 64-bit 1809, Huawei P Smart Z.

You want the latest usb drivers from Huawei and usb debugging 'ON' on your phone (in developer options). But you don't say why you can't just use wifi, especially as that works?

I installed the drivers on PC, I found the option "Allow HiSuite use HDB" option (free translation), it was enabled.

HiSuite program works good, but MPE doesn't work.

I think it's just something I miss, perhaps one option I need...

I want to use USB, because copying 20 or 30 GB is much faster than via wifi.
