Duplicate files on PC after daylight savings time change

I use a W10 (1903) 64 bit PC to maintain my Samsung S8+. I typically sync over a WiFi connection.
For my Files sync I have Customize set as follows
Direction - Phone -> PC
Source Folder - \External storage\DCIM\
Destination Folder - C:\Users\Me\Pictures\S8\
Include Subfolders is checked
Mode - Save Folder
Filter - *.*
I performed a sync on Sunday (DST changed 02:00AM Sunday). ALL files that had previously been sync'd were duplicated as "file(1).jpg" on the PC. New files since last sync were created as expected "file.jpg".
I obviously am only guessing that the change from DST to standard time is the culprit here. Both devices and the router properly made the time change.
I've been using MPE for a number of years and this appears to be new behavior. Help would be appreciated.
TIA
