Backslashes (\) if a symbol is added to contacts

First, great software!

Second, i get \'s if i add a comma to any contact, like so:

Code: Alles auswählen

Contact -> Text, Contact

MPE adds a \ just before the comma, like this:

Code: Alles auswählen

Text\, Contact

But it's only displayed in the phone, not in MPE

Its kinda annoying :/ Im using a k750i

Where is the logfile located btw? I can only find the debug.txt but it doesnt contain any contactinfo.

Your using the newest version ? If yes then:
Open the file C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\AppData\MyPhoneExplorer\general.ini and search for the following line: ForceEncodeExVCF=
Take the field "K750" out of this line, save the file and it will work.

My W800 needs this "\"-tag to decode the line. maybe its firmware-dependet

Ah, okay, just seemed wrong because ive seen other excerpts from logfiles on the forum which had more info than was in my logfile.

Dunno about the firmware dependency, maybe it is like so since not very many others are complaining. If you want my firmware version, tell me how to find it
