Office 2016 sync with Huawei Mate 10

I have been using MPE over many phones for many years.
Currently Outlook 2016 and Huawei Mate 10.
This has been working fine for about 18 months but now
I am having a problem syncing my Calendar, even after updating to latest MPE version.
Before update, calendar items in the list on the left did not match the detail entries on the right.
After update MPE wants to delete thousands of entries and towards the end of the list the items on the left list do not match the detail entries on the right.
Contacts and messages seem to be working OK.
Tasks are not syncing properly but I can live with that.
Photos reload ALL the pictures, not just new ones in spite of NEW being the setting.
I love MPE and hope I can continue to use it.
