Hi,

I have a portable setup of Thunderbird & MyPhoneExplorer.

1° Thunderbird

• I got an automatic (grrr ) update of Thunderbird 68.x to version TB 78.4.0. I upgraded now by myself () to version 78.7.1
• I have installed MPE-Thunderbird add-on version 3.0.12

2° MyPhoneExplorer

• Working with version MPE 1.8.12, => trying to sync my contacts: I got the error "Folder structure from Thunderbird could not be listed"
• I updated MyPhoneExplorer to version 1.8.15 and applied also http://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExplo ... Update.exe as suggested in topic

  => trying to sync my contacts or Calendar: I receive now "Loading entries from thunderbird failed"
  => F2 or settings > Sync > contacts: "Sync with"= "Thunderbird Portable" > Advanced :
  • "Thunderbird Profile":greyed (I have only a default profile)
  • After certain time: "Folder structure from Thunderbird could not be listed"

Any suggestion to solve this! Has MPE lost connection witn my portable TB? while TB is closed, launching syncs with MPE makes MPE launching my TB... so it knows to get to my portable TB.

I made mistake.

• MyPhoneExplorer_DebugUpdate.exe was extracted in an older folder, so I didn't apply it.
• I forgot to mention that MyPhoneExplorer_DebugUpdate.exe is for non-portable versions.

So there my finding on how I solved it.

  https://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33417. With universal extractor I extracted the files and copied them manually to the directories where they belong based on the current installation base.
  => It works!
