Any plans to test and develop for the K850i??
(P.S. Excellent application - have recommended to six friends and they all use it now too!!!) |

Where is the problem ? I know that the K850 is not a Symbian-Phone and i know that every phonesoftware of SE is similar. It will work, maybe with some little restrictions but generally it works. |

Oh alright! Cause I have plans to upgrade fom k800 to k850. But held back because I thought MPE might not support it as yet.  But I guess I am wrong! |

I have a K850i but it will not connect over BT. Before I got W800i and it worked very well.

Yes, if i remember right then SonyEricsson decided after the K800i to remove the Serial Bluetooth Profile (i think this profile was removed also on the K810i). But via normal USB-cable it should work |

I don't think so, how should every SE phone be able to connect to a BT GPS otherwise?
I found the problem in my case which was that i had not enabled the serial profile. Look at the dialoges on the link below:

That's strange, since I have K810i with firmware R6BC002 and I am connecting with MPE through Bluetooth Serial Port. So K810i must support it, and My guess is there is a wrong information on that site.
Here: http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-k810-en.shtml You can read what BT profiles are supported and Serial Port Profile is there too.
Also in BlueSoleil 5 I can connect to PAN Profile, so this one should be supported in K810i as well.

Very interesting, this is not the only site which offered this info. I have read it on more user-reviews for the K810i. |

Then... All these websites are wrong, or I have only K810i on the planet that can connect to (with?) these profiles... 
Maybe a debug file from connection through Bluetooth Serial Port for proof then?

I was reading the post; it sounds interesting that SonyEricsson Removed the Bluetooth CoM port from the K850i.
My question will be? Does the K850i Supports Bluetooth DUN?
I ask that because DUN uses a "like" comm port, remember that DUN uses a COM Port because it treath the Modems and Dial Up Modems and those uses a Comm port
so if DUN is supported on K850i then there will be a possibility to connect the k850i using bluetooth with DUN Profile
Any thought? |
