Hi!
This is not an MPE problem per se, but I thought maybe you can help.
When I don't have my phone paired with my computer, and I do a "quick connect"->Serial port, then my computer and my phone pair up and everything works fine.
But if I shut off my phone (or bluetooth in the phone, or the computer) and switch it back on, then my phone automatically pairs up with my computer, but not on my serial port. If I just leave the computer and lose connectivity, and come back again, then it works fine.
I have no clue what it connects to when bluetooth has ben shut off. Both my phone and my computer say that they are connected to each other, but I can't connect on the serial port. Whenever I try I get "Error creating 'Bluetooth Serial Port' connection with device 'Stefans phone'."
The only way I can connect again and use MPE is to remove the computer from the list of "my devices" in my phone and start over again. Obviously this is not optimal
Anyone have any idea what might be happening here? |

Update: it seems like OBEX file transfer is the service that gets connected automatically. I tried setting bluetooth energy saving to "off" to see if I could make 2 connections (if that is what that would be?), but it doesn't seem to make any difference. |

Interesting - why this does happen ? Any tasks in background which connect to the phone ? PC-Suite,.... |

I think you got me on the right track here. I didn't think that pc-suite was running. But I went ahead and uninstalled pc-suite, and now it seems to work Thank's! |

i thought that m-router was "a must".. (at least for UIQ phones, like the G900 i have)
My phone can only connect via USB - but i will try to uninstall PC Siye and m-router and see if i then can connect via BT

Yes, mRouter is a must for sync and filetransfer if you are using a UIQ-phone. |
