SMS from html form

Hi,

I'm using the software to send SMS thru webform. I have a probleme while encoding the msg from my PHP and your software.. the SMS norme is ISO8859-15 and I'm using the table from that website to do my encoding

The caractere arrived well in the software but all the special caracteres with accent are well transforming but they add a double space.
IE: Bonjour%0D%0AJe souhaite discuter avec vous concernant l%27achat %E9ventuel de votre maison.
is giving in your software :
Bonjour
Je souhaite discuter avec vous concernant l 'achat éventuel de votre maison.

so I have some double spaces arriving the final message and when posting I get them on my phone too..

Any way to fix this ?

How you start the sms operation? With commandline?
The commandline works with encoded characters so i think the problem is already inside php BEFORE the commandline string is generated.

this is the html part :
<textarea id="message" rows="4" cols="50" name="message">Pouvez vous me contacter concernant votre bien situé à Cagne sur mer</textarea>

then php code is tacking the the data when send by the html form
here is the result of what I get in the variable in php
Pouvez vous me contacter concernant votre bien situé à Cagne sur mer
no change inside then I encode with the SMS format :
Pouvez vous me contacter concernant votre bien situ%E9 %E0 Cagne sur mer%0D
then I use the html "sms:" command
sms:+33612345678&body=Pouvez vous me contacter concernant votre bien situ%E9 %E0 Cagne sur mer%0D

I tried to not encode before sending, in that case the "é" become "Ã ©" in my sms.

If I send the encoded version I get the good char "é" but I get a space before every special char like this :
"Pouvez vous me contacter concernant votre bien situ é à Cagne sur mer"

If I understand the problem find, when you do the conversion from %E9 it's like a double character so I got a space and the special character..

Did you understand me ?

Many thanks for explanation. Now I was able to reproduce and fix the issue. Please install the current beta: https://www.fjsoft.at/files/MyPhoneExplorer_DebugUpdate.exe

- additional space character problem fixed
- UTF8 encoded texts are also supported now
