Suggestion for workplace phone extensions?

Besides using the "notes" section, is there a way to display the contacts phone extension for their work location?

My wife has a main phone number, but has a specific extension like 123 to be dialed to reach her.

While I don't expect the extension to be dialed after the main number, but when I'm about to dial it, seeing the visual reminder of the extension before the number is dial would be "helpful".

I did a quick search here, didn't really see anything discussing it.

What?

You can save different numbers to each contact in the phonebook of your smartphone. They are named for their situational meaning like Home, Office, Mobile, etc..

Now what is the problem here?

The problem here is to have a "field" that allows for an actual work office place phone extension.

Like:

Main #, Ext: 1234

A place to be able to put an extension value if the contact has an extension at the company to be reached internally.
