hey, i just downlaoded this software coz it looks pretty useful when my message indox is always full and i wanna keep all my messages... I am justing bluetooth USB (not the USB cable coz i am on windows 98SE, sony ericsson driver installation doesn't support windows 98SE)... anyways, when i click connect, it will come out something search for my device (i on my bluetooth on the PC and HP)... It keep searching till the ends it says:

• Take of the battery of your phone for 2 minutes
• Restart your computer
• If you use Bluetooth: Ensure that bluetooth is activated on your mobile and that the service "Serial Port" is activated in your Bluetooth-Software

I tried them but it still gives me this message... Can anyone help me? please... thanks

first of all, which Blutooth software and which phone model are you using?
Did you try to reinstall Bluetooth or to install additional software like Widcomm? After installing Bluetooth, is there any new COM-port appearing in device manager? If so, try to activate this (virutal) COM-port.
Did you try to find out correct COM-Port with SetupCom?

erm, i am using w550i and my bluetooth software is BlueSoleil.... i did reinstall the bluetooth software and it didn't work... after install bluetooth there is a new com in my device manager that say bluetooth...

sorry, i don't know BlueSolei but is there any message or option which says that your virtual COM-port is activated or not?
If there's a search-option for devices, can you find your phone?
(be sure that the "visible"-property in your phone is enabled)

I'm using Bluesoleil here too.
Things to get it work for me were:

1. Open Bluesoleil
2. Pair your pc with your phone (i had to start this from my phone)
3. check if your phone is now visible in bluesoleil and connect the com-port
4. remember the comport and connect to that one in myPhoneExplorer
