For years I have synced to my Sony phone from an .ics file on my PC, specifying 55 days before today and 110 days aftertoday in the sync settings of the MPE desktop client. Recently the sync started wiping everything before today's date, whichever time period I choose in the sync settings (even "Sync all events").

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the desktop client and the Android app, but the problem is still there.
- How do I fix this?

It sounds that the iCal File does not contain old appointments, please check the contents of your iCal file with notepad.

I checked that and there are definitely 30 events in July in the iCal (.ics) file. Actually, 15 of them were synced successfully, but I can't see a pattern for which ones are dropped. I can send you some screenshots separately, in case you see anything obvious. Thanks!
