Hi,
My Dell G3 has a keyboard failure under warranty, but as the part doesn't seem to be available, they will replace with a new G15 5530 version.
As I synchronize with 5 Android devices, is it possible to pick up the parameters on my current PC to copy to the new device, without the need to go with the ordinary process ?

As can be read in various messages from FJ, the program stores its data in %APPDATA%\MyPhoneExplorer. So you should be able to transfer the MPE related data to the new PC.
Maybe you should also consider more sophisticated solutions such as PCMOVER, which do something more; concerning MPE, it would also transfer the program itself including its installation status. |

Maybe you did change the datalocation of MyPhoneExplorer. You find the path in Menu-File-Settings-Advanced 2 |

Hi,
I didn't modify any system parameter and in the "File, advanced 2" there is only data about photos synchro. I have a copy of the screen, but unfortunately I am not able to post.

%APPDATA% expands to a user-specific absolute path, so you need to have the user data transferred 1:1 from the old computer to the new one as well as the user account. Maybe you should simply search the whole file system for a folder named MyphoneExplorer. If you cannot find it, the data might be lost or you have no access to it.
In order to post images such as screenshots, you need to upload them to a public server and post a link here. |

I did it, and nothing found. I am the admin so I can see all files in the system. However, MyPhoneExplorer works great and these data is somewhere. |

If you haven't changed anything, then you find the MPE database, as already mentioned => %Appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer
In any case you will find the path, as already described...
In order to display screenshots in our forum, you must first upload the photos to a server.
Among other things, this is free of charge (also very convenient when you register) PicRV4 |

OK I found it. In fact, I had modified the location, but didn't remember. I think it was a very old mod. Sorry to forget that.

Another option is to manually back up your important files, folders, and settings from your current PC and restore them on the new PC. You can use external storage devices like USB drives or cloud storage services to back up your files and folders. |

I am organized for that. All my folders are on a disk server. On my system disk ( c: ) there is just what I can't put elsewhere, registry, several applications parameters often hidden and data that MS could accept to put on another location, but generate a lot of troubles after (don't ask me how I know that  ). |

Some news: I bought PCmover from Dell. He did the job, all files are here, but nothing works. I had to reset all and I am reinstalling all manually. 58€ put in the trash. |
