using "Move To" folders has greyed distination

Lately have not been able to use 'Move To' to move a folder on my phone, using the PC Windows desktop app.
...I normally rename my 'Camera' folder to have a date and note, then 'move' the folder to a Pic-2023, now to Pic-2024 folder.

When I go select the renamed folder, or even default named folder, click 'Move To' and navigate and find my destination folder, it remains greyed out.

Have done this practice of moving the folder to the year folder for, well, years, no issue until a week or two ago.
I am able to use the 'Files' tool on the Samsung Android phone and move the folder that way, directly on the phone.

Have tried various folders to move, and places to move to, same grey issue.
Have checked app permissions, has all all stuff enabled but not clearly seeing a permission for files/folders, deleting and moving.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the Android app, (re) enabled all permissions including one asking about moving and deleting files and folders.

note... thought had seen this issue and solution posted in the past, but I often can not find stuff with the forums' Search tool. I searched for "Move To" in quotes, and also Move AND TO as screen suggest, hundreds of results, none seem to have "move to" in them.

Thanks in advance!

I cannot reproduce the problem :?
No matter which target you choose, they are all grayed out?

Icke,

Yes that is correct, no matter the destination folder, the 'OK' option to click to do the move is greyed out.

By default, I have for years, renamed my 'Camera' sub-folder from under DCIM folder to a date and note, like Sunday it become 24-02-25 T-Show.
Then I have folders on this phone from Pics-2022, Pics-2023, Pics-2024, when I could then 'download' the said folder to my local PC Pictures inbound folder to process later, then would do a 'Move to' to move the said folder to, in this case, Pics-2024 folder.

I have tried to leave the name alone and move...
I have tried to rename and move to a different folder...
I have tried to move folders from last week or two, to the current or other folders...
I have created a new folder on the phone via the PC App and tried to move...

. . . all these attempts fail, as the destination folder is selected but the find the <OK> button greyed out.

To me... it acts like a permissions issue.
..I could find no permission setting bad
..I uninstalled and did a new install and enabled all permissions

Yep, worked fine for years and not now...

Greetings,
The 'move to' feature still is not working here, as the destination folders are 'greyed out' as if not selected.

- Have tried various destinations, no luck.
- Really looks like an access issue.
- Has worked for years.
- Even reached out to FJ support direct in email on Feb 27th and a follow up, no response yet.

Any other options to consider ?

FJ,

No I had not installed the 'beta' version, as until your post here and your email reply earlier in day, I was not aware of it.

Per your email, you say a Windows update has caused the issue and the beta version has a work-around. And say others have also reported this issue recently.

The words "beta" and "work around" do not sound encouraging... nor does a "update" either. ha ha

I have updated it to the latest version and it solved my problem, thank you. Academized's "write my thesis" https://academized.com/write-my-thesis service made a big difference for me. Their affordable prices and high-quality work exceeded my expectations. The thesis was professionally written and thorough. If you need help with your thesis, I highly recommend their service.

If this sounds better for you: Every software developer has to make sometimes workarounds to fix a problem. This is nothing uncommon. The beta of MyPhoneExplorer is very stable and almost save to use.
