I don't know exactly what you mean?
Do you use the “sync photos” function or have you created a file job in MPE for the transfer?
Please check whether these unwanted thumbnails are already in your photo folder (DCIM) on your cell phone?

I created a job between my photos on the computer and phone but somewhere it keeps putting thumbnails on the phone, I am not sure if they are coming from the desktop or phone

When photos are copied from the cell phone to the PC using MPE, the program creates thumbnails in the MPE database subfolder 'ThumbnailCache', that is correct.

Why are you even synchronizing this folder (Pictures)?
The photos taken with the cell phone camera are usually saved in the DCIMCamera folder.
Do you don't use the MPE function MPE => F2 = Advanced 2 = Folder for Photo sync ?

I did create a sync between my computer photos and the phone.
I am not sure how to use MPE function MPE => F2 = Advanced 2 = Folder for Photo sync

In my opinion, the Android system on your phone is solely responsible for creating the thumbnails in Pictures.thumbnails.
If I take a photo with my cell phone and look at it in the camera app, a thumbnail is automatically created :!:
If the thumbnails bother you, you can create a file job force sync PC\empty folder => Mobile / Mirror
But you should know exactly what you are doing, otherwise it is very dangerous!

MPE function MPE => F2 => Advanced 2 => Folder for Photo sync
Here you define the transfer of photos from the cell phone to the PC
You start the transfer using the Files = Sync photos function

When I take a photo, I can see the picture in the camera app I then transfer that to my pictures folder, then that synchronizes with my computer.
The photo I took that is in my dcim camera folder is 25mb not what I call a thumbnail.
When I move that jpg to a specific folder, then check my photos folder in my phone it has .thumbnails with a 45kb thumbnail jpg which, when i sync gets transferred to my computer. but they do not show in the dcim folder any more
I have a picture could not find where to post it[/img]

I don't understand why you do it like that?
1.
...I then transfer that to my pictures folder,...
In my opinion this is not necessary as the original photo should already be in the 'DCIMCamera' folder
2. You can now sync the photos:
either...
___2.1. Using the photo-sync function
or...
___2.2. Through a job

In order to display screenshots in our forum, you must first upload the photos to a server.
Among other things, this is free of charge (also very convenient when you register) => PicRV4

Again, moving the photos from Internal storage\DCIM\Camera =>Internal storage\Pictures is your problem and not necessary
You have 2 possible options:
1. Use the MPE function MPE => F2 => Advanced 2 => Folder for Photo sync => E:Pictures. You can transfer the photos using the Sync photos function.
I would activate that via favorites
2. Through a job
Target folder: Internal storage\DCIM\Camera\

If I use the first option, does this sync both ways? eg if I delete a photo from computer it will reflect on the phone

second option will not sync my photos from the computer

PS still not getting emails re notifications

No, only the photos from the cell phone are transferred to the PC

Regarding synchronization of thumbnails:
The Android system is responsible for creating the thumbnails under Internal Storage\Pictures\ and not our program.
To avoid sync to the PC you have to do the following:
Create a new folder for your photos into which you move the photos, e.g. 'My Pictures'
You have to adapt the job accordingly

Please check whether the “Notify me when a reply has been written” function is activated?
It's possible that the notifications ended up in the spam folder?!

Maybe you should try a different mail provider.
For me it currently works with GMX problem-free
